"Sixteen years at Olan!"

I worked at Olan for 16yrs up to 2001. Its a great shame the company went bust, my mum was working for them when it happened, and had done so for about ten years. it was a devestating shock for her, she really enjoyed the work and had built a fantastic reputaion for the studio.
Its a real shame so many ex staff are so bitter, but i can understand why, with the way u were all treated. In my career with Olan, i can honestly say i met some fab people, had lots of good times, had lots of invaluable training, which, has proved very useful in my current job.
The pay was crap, but we just carried on, cos we loved what we did.
I was based in the south, but had the role of District photo supervisor for a few years,so did cover an area up to norwich, wellingborough,poole to eastbourne! I can recognise some of the people leaving messages, it would be great to chat with anyone from the "old days". (southampton)
