The Cambridge blue has been taken on by a new couple after the last couple who had the pub for many years have retired.
All I can say is that the pub has suffered as a result. The atmosphere used to be cosy and welcoming and now, after a revamp and some misguided redecorating, is totally flat. Smoking paraphernalia lines the walls - something that jars given that this was one of the first non smoking pubs in Cambridge, possibly even the country.
The food is ok but Cambridge has lost a gem.
