"Raise the pay!"

I work for a lilley and skinner store in the south west and am recently new of 2 months. i have to say i am shocked at the pay. i am only contracted for 6 and a half hours a week, but work alot more than that in the week around being a full time student. for the job us sales assistants r doing we r being paid a shocking £4.60 an hour, the basic minimum wage at the age of 19! yet this is such a large company which places huge emphasis on its customer service which 9 out 10 times we most definitly deliver.
i also worked @ clarks for 3 years where i was on £5.64 (pretty good pay) but i found it 2 be a selfish company and the factory store had appauling customer service! what a difference lilley and skinner is but for such poor pay!
it really is dissapointing, the job is very boring and strenuous, if it wasn't for my amazing colleagues i wouldn't be there.
a pay rise would be appreciated and very much needed!!!
