"I am very wary of buying from Halfords since I bought a battery from them for my VW Passat 1.9 TDI.It cost £88 or thereabouts. Some months later my VW 2.5 TDI Caravelle would not start so I phoned around for prices of a new battery & the cheapest was my local VW main dealer Van Centre @ £56 including VAT.
I only buy anything from Halfords as the last resort now. "

And was the battery exact spec to Halfords?
Was it Standard or Heavy duty?
Was it lead cells or Calcium cells?
Did it havea 3 0r 4 year no quibble guarantee?

Wake up and smell te coffee its like saying all shoes should be the same price!
