Message for Scratch Geoff,

The Aldi 47" Tevion tv will not support a PS3 console as you might think.
The tv, because of its limited speaker system when using HDMI link, will not support the tremendous sound capabilities of the PS3 when playing blue ray dvd's. But all is not lost.
You will need to disable all the 5.1 and 7.1 PCM sound settings by unchecking the boxes in manual setup. This can be found in the PS3 sound settings.
Once this is done you will enjoy 2 channel sound, and the speech track will return.
