As an Independent fitter in the North Wales / Chester area, I often sub-contract to B&Q, MFI and Wickes. I agree with the post as I am one of the few who have to sometimes go and rectify other fitters mistakes or redo the entire job. There are a lot of cowboys out there who take the shine off the 'True' tradesmen. I personally enjoy my work and enjoy seeing the finished job, it adds to my portfolio. I rarely take longer than 3 days to fit cabinets appliances and worktop surfaces. I use my own electrician and plumber (all properly regesterd)to work with me(when required, And we always get the job done in a professional & courtious manner.
