"Complaining Customers"A review of Halfords by Keith - Wednesday 5th of March 2008Advertisements
I have been working for Halfords for a little under 3 years and I have finally had enough of the bad attitudes of customers, which has caused me to leave for another job. In my time I have had customers spit in my face because I could not build there bike for them at 7:52pm on a friday night. I have been offered to "go outside" numerous times by angry customers who have got it into our heads that we are lying about not having something in stock. One of my part-time members of staff had his nose broken by a customer who punched him in the face on Christmas Eve, because we didn't have the bike in stock that he wanted. Another of my part-time staff was threatened to have his teeth knocked out by another angry customer for the same reason. I have been backed into corners, pushed against walls and intimidated on many different occasions. Each time being instigated by angry customers who are looking for a discount for cash! I've been berated/shouted/heckled/verbally abused by female customers because her son/daughter fell off there bike or it got a puncture. And who is going to protect ME!!!!! from this verbal, mental and physical threat of or actual abuse. But I guess as long as the customer can get his/her discount on a ready opened box, or return there bike whilst giving someone a volley of verbal abuse and threats of physical violence then its all acceptable. And i had to tell people why I wa leaving! They should just read this and more than understand! |
