"Coffee As It Should Be"
A review of Indigo Coffee House by Zaru-San - Wednesday 25th of June 2003
Remember when people just drank coffee? I'm sure there are times when a half-fat, half-decaf, no sugar, triple SuperUber-Megaccino with caramel and cream is just the ticket, but if like me you want a coffee you can understand as well as enjoy, drop in at the Indigo Coffee House on St. Edward's Passage. Although rather 'cosy' (one up, one down), this place has something you'd never find in one of the large chain coffee houses that seem to have taken over the city centre, and that's a little bit of heart. Don't worry, you CAN have something extravagant with foam and chocolate and the rest of it if you like, but you can also have a simple cup of coffee without feeling as though you're not really trying hard enough. Real live human staff (who talk to you AND smile!), amazing food and beverages, smoking and non-smoking sections and a constant selection of good tunes: essentially, Indigo has everything you need from your new favourite coffee house.
