"Great food; ignore the location!"

A review of Lan Hong House by Aylwyn - Thursday 26th of June 2003

Don't mind the inauspicious location; this restaurant is worth visiting. Once you're inside you don't see the rather unpleasant building which it is part of - though I think they might improve things by blocking some of the enormous glass windows! However everything else about this place is good - the food, the service, a decent wine list. If it could be transported to the centre of town (replacing the nasty Galleria for example) it would be impossible to book a table.
