"Sell your Gran for Chocolate & Pear Brownie"

A review of Back Street Bistro by Good Service Fiend - Saturday 26th 2008f April 2008

The Chef at The Backstreet has a way with chocolate - his latest addition to the menu is a Chocolate and Pear Brownie - it is really quite amazingly delicious. It's not too sweet, the pear is perfectly cooked, the surrounding brownie is crisp, gooey, cakey - a different sensation with every forkful. Am I selling it to you? I'm trying to - it's worth the extra sit ups later. The rest of our meal was, as usual, comprised of very good service and tasty, well-portioned food. They've changed their menu recently, perhaps tweeking it to encourage the arrival of summer - a sign of their ongoing commitment to their customers. Thank goodness.
