"How to contact the Aldi CEO or even a junior executive"
A review of Aldi by Ray Gardiner - Friday 23rd of May 2008
I regularly shop at Aldi Heswall, spending in excess of £1,000 per annum. A couple of weeks ago I did my shopping there and then left the half empty car park to buy a newspaper and have a "pensioners" haircut. Today I received a £70 fine for overstaying by seven minutes. The notice gave me "Parking Eye's" phone number. I asked the pleasant young man for Aldi's phone number, and he responded they were specifically instructed not to give out such information. He also informed me that if I produced a receipt for £30 then I would not have to pay. As Aldi do not accept credit cards I tend to pay by cash, using my debit card for only large payments. I do not retain cash receipts, and naturally I cannot provide proof of shopping. As far as I am aware Aldi do not advertise receipts for shopping over £30 will entitile one to extended parkin facilities. How can I communicate with Aldi to sensibly discuss this??? Please pass my email address to a senior Aldi Executive, if you can contact the company.
