I am glad to say that having eaten twice now at the bird in hand that the food was wonderful and great value for money. The menu is different to anywhere nearby and a refreshing change from the standard pub grub. so far I have tried the mezze shared platter - great selection of meats and cheese and humous olives etc - the prawn red thai curry and the most delicious algerian lamb dish that I have tasted in years.

Great place for a business lunch in a nice environment with plenty of room.

Well done for being different and for being great value.
