"Vegetarian soup excellent"

A review of King William IV by Moyra A Borg - Saturday 21st of June 2008

I'm a vegetarian and regulary turn up at the King Bill as it is sometimes known for a quick simple lunch. I have frequently been treated to wonderful wholesome homemade soup. It is served with hot white French bread and butter. Excellent. I have it with Ginger Beer and a packet of Quavers which I shouldn't really have, but they help me to do my crosswords and Sudoku puzzles. The atmosphere in the pub is very friendly and there are two real wood and coal fires in the old room of the pub which really helps to make one feel at home. The ceiling is low and beamed which I think adds to the old fashioned ambience. The landlord landlady and staff are friendly and make you feel so looked after. In the warmer weather there is a quiet patio one can sit in. I would recommend a visit to this pub.
