"Quality at Halfords?"A review of Halfords by Andrew H - Sunday 22nd of June 2008Advertisements
The are issues with under-trained and dis-interested staff at Halfords. I know, I work there. Whether you are purchasing a bike or possibly have an issue with a bike you've bought, here is the way to get the best service. 1. Go into the store during the week where there should be full time staff available, rather than the weekend when the company fills its stores with under trained kids. 2. Speak to the oldest member of staff you can grab hold of. Experience tells, you know. 3. Even if you're very annoyed because of a Halfords mess-up, try to stay calm and explain your point of view. If you go in kicking and screaming it'll get peoples backs up. We're not paid enough to take abuse! Be calm, be firm. Tell the staff what you want and you should get it. Then hopefully everyone will be happy! 4. If you're not happy ask to see a superior. Halfords staff have set parameters about what they can authorise. Speak to the boss. Halfords do sell some good bikes these days. They are worth looking at, but make sure you get the best service and i'm sure you'll be satisfied. |
