A review of Pipasha Restaurant by Omar - Saturday 12th of July 2008
We asked for home delivery which was provided in due time. The lamb curry had everything a curry muncher could ask for in terms of flavour and portion size. The naan bread was a bit on the old soggy side though.
Value for money = 7.5/10. Would be nice if home delivery was a free service. Our order was 25 quid so the additional charge seemed a bit OTT. If Oz at City Kebabs can manage to do free delivery for orders over a tenner, I dont think Abdul Hey really has a leg to stand on with his £2.50 charge. However, credit where it is due, Abdul said on the phone that we would receive our order in 45 mins yet he was waiting on our doorstep with moped ticking over in the background within 29 mins. So well done there Abdul. To emphasise this point further, our coldies in the freezer didnt even have the opportunity to be suitably chilled.

Ps. Info on website was fairly comprehensive, i especially enjoyed the historical aspect and origins of the restaurant. I also thought the photos of Abdul were highly relevant to the cause. A few too many photos of empty chairs though.
