"Cover and Service Charge"

These people take the biscuit!!

Not only do they charge a 12.5% "voluntary" service charge but also a £2.95 cover charge.

In my opinion this is close to sharp practice.

I deleted the service charge and asked the (great) waiter if many people did, "no" he said but he did get moans which annoyed him as the company keeps 70% of the charge.

Beware!!
