I sympathise with the problems this person had however I have bought many electrical items from Aldi of the Tevion make and short of one LCD TV, just 2 months short of the 3 year warranty, all items have worked brilliantly. We called the electrical repair shop who took collection of the TV, repaired and returned it within a week, there's always one that will go wrong, that applies to whichever shop or manufacturer you buy from, but Aldi were more than happy to offer a replacement should the repair not be effective so I have no complaints whatsoever, I even tried to purchase replacement part for an item over 5 years old, called the same repair shop who were more than happy to supply me with a repair/reconditioned replacement. What more can you ask for??? oh, except for the original item to be in full working order I know!
