"A tough chew"

A review of The Eagle by John Rook - Saturday 11th of October 2008

Very pleasant staff and ambience,if that's the word

However, although the steak and ale pie my friend and I had on October 9th looked and and smelled very appetising the steak was too tough to chew successfully. It needed another couple of hours of cooking. A bit disappointing at £6.99 a time.
