Tom Meager, head of property for the company, said: "We'd like to be able to say we will opening straight away, but there is some structural work to be done, including putting in escalators. Realistically, that could mean opening at the end of next year. But we will be working very hard to make it earlier than that.

"We're excited and delighted to be coming to Cambridge at last, and we'll be trading as soon as we possibly can."
