Texas Homecare Wickes Homebase B&Q ive managed them all. And guess what they all have problems, things change, economy booms and busts but the one constant has been B&Q.
Yeah sure its not perfect, yeah we will all have issues from time to time but do you know what despite what everybody says B&Q try and get it right first time. The customer is important, they try to offer a great product at a great price and even work with the suppliers to ensure they can increase efficiency to meet the price demands, not screw them over like alot of the other big companies.As for the staff they too are generally great, very keen have a passion for the business and customer but guess what!! its bloody hard, always working beyond their hours for free I might add to ensure the customer walks into the tidiest and well stocked they can offer. Doesnt always work that way but the intention is always there, every single day.
so please consider this when your demanding service when you visit, standing getting frustrated by the time it takes, cant find what you want, guess what their busy, not ignoring you just busy, no theres not always enough staff but things are tuff and we have to be realistic around costs or you wouldnt be getting a 1000 variations in 40 thousand colours if we didnt mind the pennies, the alternative is it does a Texas Homecare and dissapear. One more thought noone ever seems to moan this much when queing down the aisles at sainsburys for an hour?
For me as an ex employee in stores as well as head office, I think their great never had so much opportunity in my life.
