"Dave wants to learn to read!"

A review of Aldi by Janet Ellis - Thursday 5th of March 2009

The starting pay advertised includes the bonus which is a minimum of £1.00 per hour. In my store where I am an Assistant, not a manager, the bonus is on average £1.25 per hour. This is paid from day one to every Store Assistant! It is not difficult to understand and is probably the best hourly rate of any comparable retail job.

Reading as well as spelling are basic requirements in any job but simple maths can be an advantage as well!
