A review of Jobcentre Plus by J white. written on Monday 6th of April 2009
I dont understand to go bankrumpt means that you understand that you dont have enough money to pay your bills and also pay to survive. How come fistly you have to find £500 to go bankrupt if you have that money in the first place it would make sense to pay an out standing bill.
Only to find out that because he has a job to help still pay the outstanding debts you are told "leave your job and sign on"
then after 16 weeks you can claim all the benefits that you need to survive.
But for the 16 weeks you dont get any money. derrrrr.
So you want to keep your job to try to make things right - but then you find that your partner has no work, goes to claim and is told that because your partner is working they will have to support you. but how can he is is bankrupt.
please tell me where is the sense to all this
stop working and you can both collect benefits if not suffer
MY HEAD HURTS .
