A review of The Eagle by Ele Brown - Saturday 12th of July 2003I think the reason why The Eagle kicks people out of the small courtyard at 10.30 is because they have to- the property is own by Corpus college and it is surrounded by student rooms, and hence are obligied to keep noise to a minimum after a certain time.
I imagine The Eagle (as would other pubs) would love to stay open later to sell more drinks and make more money! But that is another issue.
The Eagle is one of the nicest pubs in the centre of town.
