"TASTELESS OVERCOOKED FOOD"

A review of Henrys Cafe Bar by John - Tuesday 18th of August 2009

Went to cambridge for the day and decided to have lunch overlooking the river. Having wandered around we settled on Henrys.We had a 20 minuite wait for our drinks!!The resturant was not even a third full!! we both ordered steak BIG MISTAKE mine i wanted medium rare my wife wanted medium well both came out cremated.Has i was starving i did actually eat it but my wife could not even cut hers and that was with a steak knife!!!Basic cooking is a no no at this place if the chef can not cook steak there is no hope!!
we did complain and got £3.50 off our bill WOW brilliant customer service!!! We will most certainly not be visiting there again. Such a shame because the setting is beautiful
