A review of La Tasca by Steve Sargeant written on Wednesday 23rd of September 2009
Visited La Tasca and ordered from the meal for a tenner menu...
Food started off okay but as it continued the food got worse and worse.
spanish omelate very overcooked, seafood & chicked paella very dry and appeared to have been microwaved,
chirizo - tough as old boots, potatas bravas almost cold.
I had had a few poor meals previously here and decided to give it one last try and was very let down.
Service was much better than my last visit which was good, however I would not recommend eating here.
Big shame as its a lovely setting and the atmosphere is nice....
They need to cook things from fresh and not go for the easy re-heat option.
One positive was the house red which is on offer for £10 was pretty good and the white fish cooked in batter was lovely...
Overall - 3/10
