"About The Spread Eagle"

A review of Spread Eagle by Colin McGee written on Thursday 17th of July 2003

The Spread Eagle is a pleasant pub with a clean upmarket atmosphere. It has a long American style bar, tasteful pine furniture and an outside seating area.

They serve a variety of beers and lagers including Belgian beers like Hoegaarden.

The clientele tend to be students and academics who keep themselves to themselves. I have found the bar staff polite at all times.

It's a nice place for a quiet drink with a few friends. Not really the sort of place you can meet new people though.

I will certainly go back.
