"Tevion 42" tv does not come on first time"

I bought a tevion 42" hd ready tv from aldi just over a year ago,and its been working fine,but all of a sudden when u go to switch it on the red light goes green it comes on then straight away it goes off again,the light then flashes red green red green for a couple of minutes before the tv comes on and stays on .Can anybody help?.
