If you use this number 0800 317720 you will get straight through to customer services .... by-passing all the menu options.

This number is printed on the back of the SIM cards with the message "If found please call 0800 317720".

I was trying to get my SIM card re-activated after it stopped working. I intend to purchase a new phone in the near future and I wanted to retrieve the balance on my card so that it could be transferred to the new phone.

Even though I found that they had managed to lose all record of both my phone number AND the SIM card number they did eventually manage to reinstate the SIM card and the balance on it .... though they did have to give me a new phone number. Although it took about half an hour, and needed the help of a supervisor, they were very helpful and pleasant to deal with .... and I am very happy with the outcome.
