I was on holiday staying with friends in Cambridge when my mobility car got 2 flat tyres. I had problems with them prior to the holiday and had taken the car to my local Kwik Fit in Penzance, Cornwall. The centre in Cornwall charged me to take the tyres off and inspect them. I explained this to the man in the Histon Road Centre who said that firstly I should not have been charged and he was more than happy to inspect and find the problem. Some 20 minutes later the fitter (Brian) was handing me back the keys and informed me that the beading on the tyres had not sealed correctly when fitted so was acting like a slow puncture and over a long drive it was going flat quicker. As it turned out the tracking was out on the car anyway (and it was less than4 months old) so I ended up 2 days later having 2 new front tyres. I just wished that all quick fit centres had the same outlook. Six month previous I had to visit the centre in Huntingdon and the man who introduced himself as the Manager was nothing more than a smug git who was more intent in dealing people who would have to pay money (motobility cars are all paid for in advance) than dealing with me, I sat in the centre for nearly four hours ! Well done the chaps at the HISTON ROAD KWIK FIT ! |

I ordered the tyre from Kwik-Fit... All I asked for was my tyre pressure to be checked and I was told my tyres were VERY near the limit ... I used KwikFit for around 5 years for tyres, MOTs and servicing at several branches. I found them al...
