"Disfunctional service"A review of Zizzi by Disappointed Diner - Friday 5th of March 2010Advertisements
Party arrived on time. shown to table. Waited 35 minutes for orders to be taken. Waited 15/20 minutes for drinks - had to ask for glasses and for bottles to be uncorked. After another 35 minutes, Starters and Mains all arrived together - to cover their error, the server claimed we had asked for that! They took the Mains away but instead of binning the pizzas and pasta dishes when the Mains were later served they hasd been kept hot/reheated so that pizzas had rock hard edges and leather bases and pasta was part hard inedible and part burnt inedible. We were reluctantly given 40% off the food bill. Would have cost them less to bin the mains and cook afresh and if they had not been so slow we might have had deserts. This reviewer's first and last visit to this branch at least. A good lesson in anti-marketing...... |
