So you didn't keep your receipt Alan?

It seems to me that if you hadnt got your receipt and were unable to present proof of purchase, then B & Q had every right to refuse a refund in line with their returns policy.

The majority of retailers nowerdays do not accept returns without a receipt. B & Q are basically just bringing their policy in line with others... long overdue.

I think perhaps a lesson has been learnt here... keep all receipts... you never know when you might need them ;).
