"The Empress how I will miss thee."

When I came to live in Romsey I thought no pub could better my local from where I used to live, and then came the Empress.

It has pigs, pool, darts, rabbits, sweet shop, quizzes, billiards, friendly staff, a FANTASTIC atmosphere, a good range of general alcohol, beer festivals and a commitment to current events (christmas and world cup commitment is the best ive seen of anybody, let alone a PUB!).

This is by far and away the best pub I have ever been in. A local treasure. My only regret is not having the time to visit more often..
