A review of B & Q by Sam - Tuesday 29th of June 2010
Why is it people on here are so quick to blame B & Q? From what you say there was no proof that you had bought the lights 10 months before. For all B & Q knew they could be well over that age. Secondly, with something that cost that much, I certainly would have filed the receipt away and made sure it wasn’t destroyed, even if I moved house!! Thirdly, havn’t you visited B & Q’s website? www.diy.com. It clearly outlines its returns policy and actually gives you a number to ring if you have faulty good. Quote: Your Consumer rights are not affected. Faulty Products: If the product you purchase is fault, we may offer a repair, exchange or refund as appropriate in accordance with your consumer rights. Please call us on 0800 3895l6 to arrange. I suggest to you that you are too quick to blame others rather than yourself. Its not rocket science to go to a company’s website and find a solution. Maybe further research is needed in future before badmouthing a company who, in my opinion, do their utmost to keep the customer happy.
