"Good - but not perfect !!!"A review of Chivers Hartley Ltd by Trish Slater - Tuesday 24th of August 2010Advertisements
Having had no luck with finding tins of the now discontinued thickcut 'Mamade' I made many phone calls and discovered that 'Lakeland' sell tins of Medium cut prepared oranges for £1 99p which are not quite the same as 'Mamade' but are better than nothing, I would be interested to have the opinion of anyone else who has used this product in desperation. I found the results OK but wondered if a couple of spoonsful of really datk sugar or treacle might make the end result closer to what I was used to with the thickcut 'Mamade' which always had a deep, scrummy taste. |
