"Slow bar staff!"

A review of Flying Pig by Gail - Thursday 14th of August 2003

I was in the Flying Pig again recently and was not terribly impressed with the service - I wanted to enquire regarding opening times etc and I had to wait at the bar for quite a while to be served, as the two female bar staff were busy chatting amongst themselves!

Eventually one of them answered my questions, but she then wandered off, as if I didn't want any drinks. So I then had to wait again to get served a round of drinks for myself and my friends!

I wouldn't mind waiting if they were rushed off their feet, but they were obviously not busy atall! The bar staff obviously need training in customer service!
