"Thank you for wasting my time yet again"
A review of Bus Station - Stagecoach Cambus by JJ - Sunday 17th of August 2003
Last night, yet again, I waited for another bus which did not turn up, and the next bus was 20 minutes late. This time it was the C1 service to Arbury. I had just returned to Cambridge from a day's travel by train and made it to the train station bus stop in good time. Unfortunately, the bus did not. There were at least 20 people waiting for the bus - who waited over 40 minutes, some even longer. So in total over 12 man-hours were wasted thanks to the incompetent services of Stagecoach. When will our crappy government regulate these bus companies properly? In my opinion, every time a bus does not turn up, people waiting for it should be compensated by the bus company. That would kick them into shape. At the moment, particularly for routes used by less people, it would seem that the bus company is not concerned by missed services, as long as they remain proifitable overall. Yet again it is the public who suffers.
