Many tales of woe have been posted here. But in a way, what else can you expect. You go to resort towns for a very short time and get involved with men from the lower rungs of Turkish society. The liars, the cheats, the scumbags, with no morals, manners, or real ethical values when it comes to treating women, especially non-muslim women, well. What more can you expect? These men often aren't well educated and they don't come from good/nice/respected familes from the Turkish viewpoint.You are slumming it in these situations. Are these men you'd be interested in if you met them in the UK or US? Not Likely.If you went to Turkey for a couple of years, lived in a city, and met decent, well-educated professional men and got to know then under better circumstances--and didn't hop into bed within 3 days, there would be fewer stories, but happier ones..
