"KH Construction - excellent builders!"

We have just finished a major extension project on our house with KH Construction. This involved a loft conversion and ground floor extension, and we moved out of the house for nearly 4 months, so it was a big thing for us. I cannot recommend KH more highly - they were careful and considerate and worked to an extremely high standard of finish. They were also very good at suggesting imaginative and practical solutions to the various problems that we came up against - for example our utility room was constrained by the boundary fence and ended up a little narrower than planned. Very much at the last minute we re-jigged the layout of the room completely at the builders suggestion, and it works much better than it would have done as originally envisaged.

Of course any major project is likely to come up with some niggles and there were times when the lines of communication weren't as good as they could have been, but we always felt that the builders were open to making good anything we were unhappy about.

In the end, the bottom line is that we came in more or less on budget (after quite a lot of changes as we went along, this is a bit of a miracle), although the project did take longer than originally planned, in large part due to factors outside their control. And we are really fantastically pleased with our new house, which is much better than we could ever have imagined - light, spacious and warm!.
