After reading some good reviews about this restaurant we were looking forward to having lunch here. On arrival we were asked if we had a reservation (there were only 2 tables occupied) - we did not, the waitress looked pained but accommodated us on a corner table which was unset and unlit.
We ordered our food and drinks and asked for straws for the childrens' drinks. After a 15 minute wait the drinks came without straws. We asked again and waited 10 mins... then asked again and straws were finally provided.
15 minutes later the starters came but 5 mins after that, we still had no plates or utensils to eat them with. When we asked for some forks or chopsticks, we were asked if we all wanted them!
We waited 20 mins for each meal to arrive individually, so we all ended up eating our main meals separately.
I asked if they had forgotten my husband's meal it had taken so long to arrive, but we were told it was a dish that took a long time to prepare and no apology was offered.
In addition to the this poor service, we found the food mediocre and over priced.
At the end of the meal, service had been automatically added at 10% to our bill - we asked for this to be removed.
A sore disappointment. It ruined our Sunday afternoon together and we felt robbed.
