I couldn't agree more with the last writer.

I too have attended this surgery many times due to illness that has been ignored and fobbed off with alternate excuses for a couple of years. Finally, I had a hospital referral for an operation. So the WAS something wrong then...hmmm

So two years of being told "your suffering depression or anxiety" was common. I was not, am not suffering any form of anxiety or depression, but PAIN. Pain from needing an operation to remove the un-wanton anomaly.

Now, booking an appointment too can be ridiculous too. Sometimes you can call in or telephone and be appointed with 'a' GP [who are not GP as in General Practitioners] but field of practice, ie Kettle is skin, and Watson is E.N.T. the same day, sometimes the next day, and other times [like today I was told in 6 days time !] WHY? Because it's not a routine appointment ?? What ? So a patient has to be regularly symptomatically ill, or not at all. Other days have been different. I think they make it up as they go along.

Also, the Practice Manager doesn't know what she's doing there, or who her staff [GP's too] or who of them are even in the surgery that day! .

Also, they sold my personal contact details to a 3rd party,, even though I stated no 3rd party contact by ticking that box. So people started calling me and when I asked where they got my details from ... the answer was "your doctors surgery" .

So, if you are a care free depressive, low-life, DLA,ESA,JSA, or pension, you'll be fine. If you don't like being lied to, fobbed off, given wrong prescriptions from mus-diagnosis, then this is the surgery for you.
