A review of The White Swan by Sue Wilkinson written on Friday 28th of February 2014
What a lovely little place to visit. I went with some friends on a cold wet thursday lunchtime and we really happy with what I found a Pub that does things simple but good. Menu was only Pub grub but lovely big portions for the money (couldn't fit a dessert in) The girl behind the bar was really nice to chat to as i waited for my friends to turn up, I never like going into a pub on my own but was made to feel welcomed and she made the effert to chat to me although the place was busy. They seem to be doing a lot of work to the building Toilets then a big extention to the back that will be the new resturant area so i was told. 1 thing i did like the look of was all the beer lined up behind the bar (took me back to memories of a little girl). All in all this is a good find by me and my friends and all agree to be back alot more..
