Which Red House Surgery are people talking about? There is one in the Burwell area, and one in Cambridge City.
I attend the one in Cambridge City and it is quite excellent. The staff are attentive and sensitive and have a very professional manner considering some of the other patients that I have seen. I have seen the poor receptionists being verbally abused, and they have a very professional manner towards it all. They are a credit to themselves and the practice.
I have never had a problem getting an appointment - if it is for something urgent, i let them know it is urgent and I get an appointment the same day. If it is routine then it is normally a week or two's wait, but if it is routine - it CAN wait. They always tell me if it becomes more urgent to let them know and they'll do what they can to arrange an earlier appointment.
