Been going to Gee's on and off for around 50 years now, since Harry and his wife were behind the counter. From the days when the EF37A was the bee's knees for the budding audio amp builder and 807's, KT66's etc to give you the noise. When Q-MAX cutters were what you needed to cut holes in the chassis for the IO valve holders. Ask for an obscure electronic component and Harry would vanish into the Tardis at the back, and after waving his magic wand, would exit with a cobwed decorated cardboard box containing several version of the item. The tally for all the items you required would be totalled up in pencil on a white paper bag into which those delectable parts were decanted. A great place and still going strong. Thank you Gee's for the years of service. .
