A review of Marshall Motor Group by Rick Parisi written on Monday 11th of January 2016
I bought a brand new Jaguar XJ Premium Luxury from Marshall Jaguar in November 2014. It went in for its first service in November 2015, having done only 7,000 miles. Marshalls driver ran it into my gatepost and mangled the rear door and rear quarter to the extent that both the door and the rear quarter have to be replaced.
Marshalls admitted liability and offered to repair it.
I refused - I would not buy a damaged repaired vehicle and it is never going to be the same.
The vehicle would be worth less because the fact that it is crash repaired will be recorded on its Jaguar history.
I said that I wanted a new vehicle. They offered me a pre-registered vehicle that was a year newer, which means that I would be shown as the second owner but wanted me to pay £8,175 for the exchange!
I've now been driving a mangled vehicle for over 2 months.
They were given a deadline to make a sensible offer but haven't responded at all.
I am now proceeding with legal action.
Unbelievably bad service and a "don't care" attitude! Take my advice - buy elsewhere!.
