"Doesn't take criticism well, very rude"

A review of Julian by Manuel written on Friday 2nd of September 2016

Contrary to what I said in former review entitled "Highly recommended", which I wrote following my first haircut, the quality of Julian's service gradually degraded.

On my last visit he literally kicked me out of his shop after I pointed out that the left side was slightly longer than the right. It really was. After he completed the haircut with evident reluctance, he exploded: "That's not how this works, you come here and I give you a straight haircut, end of story. If you don't like what you get here you should go somewhere else. There's a tolerance built into the work I do and you have to accept it, because there are more important things in life. You could get run over by a truck while riding your bicycle on your way home, and a minute asymmetry in your haircut would be the last of your worries. Today is the last time you'll ever come back here." OK, I get it: the remote possibility that your customers may get mowed down by a motor vehicle is a valid excuse for slacking off. I found this both rude and deeply upsetting..
