"Best place in town"A review of Drum & Guitar Centre by Will Betts - Monday 13th of October 2003Advertisements
Definitely the most helpful guitar shop in Cambridge. Location isn't that bad but takes a while to get to once you've had enough of the other two guitar shops. Their stock of spares is quite extensive. You can go in and ask for a replacement Strat jack plate and they'll have one. Don't try this at Mark's or Ken Stevens. "Ah no mate, if you didn't buy it here then we can't do anything. We would have to send it to Fender and then thats an extra 25 quid and..." you get my point. Drum and Guitar Centre have the time to actually talk to you and aren't trying to force you into buying a guitar or shove you out the door. I agree that their range of guitars isn't VERY wide but there is usually something that takes my eye. What other guitar shops have employees with Drum and Guitar Centre written on sweatshirts. How much do they cost? I want one. |
