"Curry King"A review of Curry King by bemused - Saturday 25th of October 2003Advertisements
I would like to say that I was able to sample the food. Our party of 4 arrived for our booked table at 8.30 p.m. 24/10/2003. After discussion by the staff we were allocated a table on the ground floor. Duly perused the menu and our ordered drinks arrived. A large party then turned up and we were asked if we minded moving upstairs so the party could be accomodated downstairs. We of cause agreed and carried our drinks upstairs. The staff wanted to sit us at a table right by the stairs which would involve people squeezing past us. We requested that as we had agreed to move upstairs that we chose the table. At this point a male member of staff took our drinks from us and told us in no uncertain terms to leave. Our waitress apologised and couldn't believe it. All this in front of other diners. So I can't comment on the food but can now say that at the age of 50 I have the dubious pleasure of being thrown out of a restaurant. |
