A review of The Rat and Parrot by John Clemments - Tuesday 30th of November 1999

/nI am a big fan of the original Rat as i feel it has great staff and an almost endless atmosphere. And so i have tried the new one on quite a few occasions. If you want clinical service with false smiles and shoddy service in a cold air conditioned pub that should probably house zoo animals rather than customers then this sadly is the place for you i have had cold poor quality food on a number of occasions and have never felt at home but dont let me put you off altogether go there if only to compare it to the cheap cheerful and fun of the Rat and Parrot down by Jesus Green
