A review of Gardenia Take Away by Greek Burger Man - Tuesday 4th of November 2003I agree that the Gardenia is simply the best Take-away in Cambridge and have been frequenting it since about 1988. Shame they don't do their Greek Burgers with Feta Cheese in the middle anymore as they were a firm favourite. The popularity of the place is evident by the regular queue out on the street, particularly at the weekends when the 'munchies' strike with a vengeance!
Take my advice don't go to that joint further along the crescent, you know the one I mean - the one that (in my opinion) sells tasteless mass produced rubbish.
I have heard also that Caius College want to close the Gardenia. This would be a complete travesty for many Cambridge residents and visitors alike. Anyone know anymore about this??
