"More Fool You!"A review of Eisenegger by ria - Friday 7th of November 2003Advertisements
In response to the other reviews on this site, I would like to put the record straight. POINT 1 As an employee of Eisenegger/Foxhole, I see many people attempting to return goods to the store in all sorts of conditions. The company policy is to not offer a cash refund, but as an alternative, credit notes or exchanges are offered with a valid reciept. If you looked around at other stores, you will find that many places do not offer cash refunds anymore. The legal issues surrounding this state that companies such as Eisenegger/Foxhole do not have to provide the customer a cash refund as long as there are fitting rooms on the premises. It will also state on the bottom of your Eisenegger/Foxhole reciept that the company do not offer cash refunds. As for the quality of the products sold being poor, that is completely up to the individual to decide. POINT 2: You will find many of the same styles in other leading high street stores as you will in an Eisenegger/Foxhole store. As for whether the goods are worth being sold at the prices they are offered at, all businesses are run to make a profit, so goods that are bought in any store are not sold at the manufacture price. As to whether the goods are sold at the full stated price, yes they are. All goods are sold for at least 28 consecutive days in a small number of stores, including Oxford Street in London, before being sent to other stores and reduced in price. Eisenegger/ Foxhole stores always seem to be in sale. As a discount store, obviously they are in sale. Admittedly, the window posters do imply that these stores are in sale and, on occasions closing down. This implication depends on how you read these posters as they have been know to state, "CLOSING DOWN PRICES, EVERYTHING MUST GO". This does not mean that the stores are closing, just that the prices offered in these stores are similar to that of a closing down sale. If this bothers you, after buying from an Eisenegger/Foxhole store, then more fool you for falling for a sales ploy... |
